DESCRIPTION:Polestar Gardens presents… \nAdventures in Spirit Summer Camp: Build a Community! \nLearn the emotional\, physical & spiritual Skills for Living necessary for community building. \nWe are offering three 1-week sessions; enroll for 1\, 2 or all 3! \n*Jun 12-16   * July 10-14   *July 31 – August 4 \nActivities Include: \n\nYoga & Meditation\nGardening\nNature Study\nFirst Aid\nBasic Carpentry\nBicycle Maintenance / Tool Usage\nArt & Music\nPlayground Design\nCamping Skills\nTeamwork / Gamesmanship / Problem Solving\nEnvironmental Responsibility\n…and more!\n\nChildren 5 through 12 years will experience the skills necessary to help them become independent\, productive and cooperative individuals within a community. All projects will be presented respectfully with the intention of connecting to the spirit of the child in order to build and nurture a community as well as their inner world. Each day begins with a morning circle of yoga\, meditation & music. \n9am to 3 pm Monday through Friday for Children aged 5-12. $225/week \nParent participation encouraged and tuition discount will be applied.  \nNote: Community Service hours will be available for teen mentors. \nRegistration Opens February 15th. Please secure enrollment with a $50 deposit for each session of interest. \nBalance due May 15\, 2023. Full refunds provided if cancelled two weeks prior to session start date

Stay tuned for the date announcement!\n\nDeb Lindner and Stace McGee are generously hosting a kirtan & potluck gathering on their beautiful land and music venue\, Moon Shadow Meadow! \nJoin us for a memorable evening of music\, connection and shared experiences. \nDon’t worry if you’re unfamiliar with chanting or the words\, we will provide explanations and song sheets to guide you. You can easily join in and participate\, allowing you to enjoy the uplifting experience of communal singing and connect with the music in a meaningful way. \nThis is an outdoor venue. Family friendly. ALL are welcome! Please note this is a drug and alcohol free event. Donations welcome. \n5:30 – 6:00 Mingle\n6:00 – 7:00 Kirtan (sacred music\, chanting)\, short meditation between chants\n7:00 – 8:00 Vegetarian Potluck (please include what you would like to bring with your RSVP below) \nWhat is Kirtan:\nIn simple terms\, kirtan is a joyful practice of singing and chanting together in a group.
