We’re moving indoors as of Oct 4th.  \nSusan and Joe Cohn are generously hosting us at their home:  \n850 S Overland Trail\, Unit #14\, Fort Collins\, CO 80521 \n6-7PM: Chanting & brief meditation \n7-7:30PMish: Vegetarian potluck \nEach Wednesday evening\, we’ll gather for a heart opening kirtan\, a connecting meditation and a soul-nourishing vegetarian potluck. Polestar Wednesdays are sweet for the whole family- see you soon! \nWHAT IS KIRTAN? Derived from a Sanskrit root meaning to call\, recite\, praise\, or glorify\, put simply\, kirtan is the act of praising and glorifying some form of divinity including the Divine found in yourself. Because music is particularly potent as a vehicle of conveying one’s emotions\, music is especially effective at evoking feelings of Love and Higher Consciousness. Kirtan is therefore viewed as exceptionally powerful when practiced through singing and music. \n*Please note that these events are drug and alcohol-free. Mahalo.
