DESCRIPTION:Polestar Gardens presents… \nAdventures in Spirit Summer Camp: Build a Community! \nLearn the emotional\, physical & spiritual Skills for Living necessary for community building. \nWe are offering three 1-week sessions; enroll for 1\, 2 or all 3! \n*Jun 12-16   * July 10-14   *July 31 – August 4 \nActivities Include: \n\nYoga & Meditation\nGardening\nNature Study\nFirst Aid\nBasic Carpentry\nBicycle Maintenance / Tool Usage\nArt & Music\nPlayground Design\nCamping Skills\nTeamwork / Gamesmanship / Problem Solving\nEnvironmental Responsibility\n…and more!\n\nChildren 5 through 12 years will experience the skills necessary to help them become independent\, productive and cooperative individuals within a community. All projects will be presented respectfully with the intention of connecting to the spirit of the child in order to build and nurture a community as well as their inner world. Each day begins with a morning circle of yoga\, meditation & music. \n9am to 3 pm Monday through Friday for Children aged 5-12. $225/week \nParent participation encouraged and tuition discount will be applied.  \nNote: Community Service hours will be available for teen mentors. \nRegistration Opens February 15th. Please secure enrollment with a $50 deposit for each session of interest. \nBalance due May 15\, 2023. Full refunds provided if cancelled two weeks prior to session start date

DESCRIPTION:Join us on the Polestar Land every Wednesday for a Community Building Extravaganza! Each Wednesday we’ll be there from ~4-7:30PM. Come for any or all of the following activities\, as your time and interest allows~ \n4PM: Come volunteer in the community garden! A handful of us will be in the garden every Wed afternoon. Bring your water bottle\, sunhat and enthusiasm and enjoy the veggie goodness later as the growing season progresses. \nOR… \n4PM: Music practice! Bring your voice and/or instruments and let’s learn and rehearse for kirtan together. \n5PM: Guided energization exercises and short meditation. \n5:30PM: Kirtan \n6:30PM: Vegetarian Potluck & games. Please bring a dish or snack to share\, your own plate/bowl\, cutlery & water bottle so we can limit our trash. \nPolestar Wednesdays are fun for the whole family.
